The two-storey Villa Eliá nestles elegantly against rugged rocks on an olive-covered hillside. On the upper level, large floor-to-ceiling windows allow indoor and outdoor living to blend seamlessly.
The open-plan kitchen, living and dining area flows seamlessly onto the balcony and terrace, as well as the pool area with its covered lounge and outdoor kitchen.
A lovely detail of the holistic spatial concept can be found in the light-filled extension. With a large desk facing a small balcony, this creates an additional workspace and retreat.

A wide wooden staircase leads to two spacious bedrooms that leave nothing to be desired: luxury en-suite bathrooms, wooden furniture, high-quality mattresses, discreet built-in wardrobes and modern SMART TVs. Each bedroom has its own terrace, from which a natural stone staircase leads up to the upper level and the pool. One of the two bedrooms features a ‘gaming nook’ equipped with a PlayStation 5. This can also be used as a sleeping area for an additional guest.
The terraces also lead to the sheltered hot tub area with an outdoor shower. Surrounded by olive and citrus trees, this is the perfect spot for Mediterranean-style relaxation.

Villa Eliá is situated in a very peaceful location on the outskirts of the small village of Kalonichtis. The nearest small supermarket is in Agias Andreas, 2.5 km away.
A popular tavern can be found in Gonia, 5 km away.
The old town of Rethymno is a 20-minute drive away.
The extensive sandy beach at Episkopi Beach is 15 minutes away.
The distance to Heraklion Airport is 90 km.
The distance to Chania Airport is 75 km.
Suggested day trip to the south: the beautiful bay of Plakias, with its beach
and numerous tavernas, is 20 km away.
Booking conditions
The pool is closed from December until the end of March.
From 7 November to 7 December, prices do not include electricity. Electricity is charged separately according to consumption.
The minimum stay from 7 November to 7 December is 14 nights.
The minimum stay from 8 December to the end of March is 28 nights. Electricity is included in the price (the pool is not in operation. End-of-stay cleaning is included, but no mid-stay cleaning. We are happy to arrange this for you, in which case it will be charged separately).
The minimum stay from 1 April to 30 April is 7 nights.
From 1 April to 6 November, all service charges are included in the rental price.
Eco-tax:
Since the start of 2024, the Greek Government has introduced an eco-tax for all visitors to Greece.
This is tiered according to category and season:
the charge from 1 April to 31 October is €15.00 per night per villa, and from 1 November to 31 March it is €4.00 per night, regardless of the number of guests.
The amount can be transferred to us before arrival, or paid in cash, or by Visa or Mastercard.
